Blue Velvet - My thoughts...

"She wore blue... velvet" Sounds nice enough song for a nice enough movie right? WRONG. I feel violated by David Lynch's Blue Velvet, although it was an amazingly good film that digs at the idea of everyone having their only secrets no matter how perfect they are, it's still filled with gruesome dismembered bodies, cringy sex scenes and a pretty wacky sound track.

Even though the film can be slightly crude at times, I think that Lynch told the story perfectly and gets the issues across very well. Deffinatly one to watch, just not for the faint hearted.
