What has been your interest and experience of media to date?
Interest - My main interest in media is the fact that it is one of the most easy to use yet most powerful tools in the world; it has the potential to change the way someone thinks about something, it can educate, it keeps people connected, it can play a big role in global politics etc.
Experience - I haven't got a vast amount of experience in terms of producing media products as its an expensive hobby; so I have only produced short films and trailers for A-level Media studies (But my main skill when producing a film is the camera work and narrative).
- Created a 5 minute short film
- Created a starting sequence to a film
- Created a film trailer
- Occasionally I leisurely film my friends skateboarding
- I've been to the BBC studios and gained knowledge of how things work in a media environment
In terms of other aspects of media i have a substantial amount of experience in:
- Blogging
- Video sharing
- Social networking
- Gaming
- Producing music
- E-mailing
etc


What would you like it to be in the future?
I would like to gain experience in film producing and gain an overall greater knowledge of how media works.


What media are you interested in as both consumer and producer?
As both a consumer and producer i am interested in the web 2.0 platform as it allows people to share their ideas and creations with eachother; im also interested in the musical side of the media as i have a passion for music.
